Many Christians believe in the Rapture and that we are indeed living days in which many of the End Times prophecies are being fulfilled on the front pages of our newspapers. The season is right for the Rapture. In a series of notes I hope to guide those of you that might have missed out and are sort of lost and confused. I write this and post it to my site now because the timing of this event is known only to God. We can really only guess the approximate time period but such pursuits are a wasted effort. Needless to say the time is growing closer so if you've been hesitant about your faith, putting it off for that far off future day you'll be able to get down to business then I warn you it might be a grave mistake. Remember one thing - there is still hope if such an event does indeed occur but the time is now up where we can put it off. The period of time called the Tribulation follows shortly after the Rapture when a peace pact will be announced for the nation of Israel. You have a chance still to repent of your sins, ask forgiveness of God and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. I would urge this even if you read this before the Rapture. I lived in the World the first 28 years of my life and believe me, I was always looking for something but I never thought it was Jesus and I was one of the worst and most blasphemous anti-Christian people you could find. Purpose - I want to list below a few things you can do and look out for in this confusing era of history where you will need to cling to God's Word or fall. I ask if any other Christians want to submit ideas for this ongoing column that they can submit them here but I ask they be kept short (a paragraph each). 1) Yes, get yourself a King James version of the Bible now, before they are banned. 2) Others will be seeking God and answers also, find a Church. It will be tough to do that now because most of the believers will be gone and only those with a tepid belief and compromised morals will be left to operate the churches. The Pastor should be heavily based in the Word and quote from the Bible in everything. ALWAYS weigh what a preacher is saying against the Word of God. This will be a time of false prophets who will water down God's Word. 3) The answers you seek are in the Word so read the Bible daily, pray daily, buy Christian books about the Tribulation if you get confused (again, before they get banned). 4) When the Peace Pact for Israel is signed, the Tribulation Period (seven years) starts. Christ will return at the end of this time but you must hold on. A world political figure will arise in this period that will unite the world with peace pacts and smooth words. People will flock to this charismatic figure BUT... the Bible refers to this man as the Antichrist. A man who will unite the world under a global government and rule man. Great wars will come, famines, disease, and natural disasters. For the sequence of events to come refer to the book of Revelations in the Bible. 5) At a later point in the Tribulation the Antichrist will enact a system where man can not buy or sell anything unless he accepts a mark on his hand or forehead. This mark is called the Mark of the Beast. Some have speculated the system will be a cashless society and the mark will be a microchip implant that will allow you to buy and sell like a credit card. DO NOT TAKE the MARK!!! Yes, it might mean you starve or die but the Bible says accepting the Mark condemns you. NO opportunities are given for salvation after this decision. 6) Evangelize others. Many will be lost and confused. Tell others of the grace of God through Jesus Christ. Christians and Jews will be persecuted by the world government of the Antichrist at some point and you will need to stick together. |
