Frequently Asked Questions
+ I've read volume one of your
Mass Destruction series. When will the next installment be out?
- Volume two will be available... eventually. It is actually
written but still needs editing and more art for it. I have to play the waiting
game like you do with my publishers to see if the first one sells well enough.
They will not take the next book in the series if it doesn't do well enough
(they require 5000 units sold). If it fails to reach that point in a reasonable
time I will entertain going to another book company that will market the book
PROFESSIONALLY (not on a local level). If it never finds a home I will
eventually go onward and self publish the remaining books but don't look for
that for some time given my finances. My original hope was to do one per year
(or even better) but the process was longer than I had hoped for.
+ Where is your book available?
- Volume one of the book is 'officially' available everywhere
starting on March 25,
2008. It is available through just about every online book store known to man.
All the big names like Amazon, Barnes and
Noble, Borders, Wal-mart.com, Buy.com, Target.com, and others will have access to the book through
Ingram/ Spring Arbor, the main book distributor to most book selling outlets. All you would
have to do is ask someone to either stock the book or order you a copy in the
stores themselves. Some stores may put them on the shelves (its up to the
individual store management). You can also order the book anytime through my
publisher's web site [Direct
Order Page]. Just type in Mass Destruction vol. 1 Age of Terror as
the title or the author name Ryan Conti when searching book seller websites.
+ Did
you know there are grammatical errors in the book?
- Yes. The publisher advertised a 'professional' editing team... etc.
I was not really happy with many aspects of the book. To actually enact the
changes in grammar they want to charge me per mistake even though they did the
bulk of the editing. Maybe in a future run of the book I can get them to do the
changes free but I refuse to pay for it. It certainly doesn't diminish the
book's message so if it really bugs people complain to the publisher and tell
them THEY did a bad job. |
