Mass
Destruction Vol 1 - Age
of Terror
In a time of great fear, America is faced with a
new challenge from terrorists operating from the European Union. China
has made a move against Taiwan and the rise of the 'hybrid' has
just hit the eyes and ears of the citizens of the world. A new brand of
terror grips the hearts of man as titanic battles erupt on the streets
between supernaturally powered people who are literally walking weapons
of mass destruction. The President is faced with
confronting a long running conspiracy as an unlikely group of misfit
heroes join forces to get answers.
Mass Destruction is a
team of super heroic characters who have joined forces to fight against
evil. In the 'Mass Destruction' series, the team will engage against
forces from within our own nation which have fallen under the control of a
mysterious group of men bent on creating a world government. As the
conspiracy is slowly unraveled, the heroes are beset by political
intrigue, terrorists, armed forces both foreign and domestic, as well as
against each other and even themselves. The series is planned to be
twelve books that progress from the early rumors of wars to all out Armageddon.

Background
Imagine America faces its most deadly peril. As the end of days are
unfolding before our eyes in the newspapers and on the airwaves, I have
chosen to use some of my long time favorite characters to tell an epic
tale of how these days will play out. Although a science fiction action
story involving dozens of colorful characters, this is actually a story
about the fall of our nation played on the backdrop of the Bible's
Tribulation period and the preceding years of World War Three.
Starting in 2005, I began to mold the early outlines
of this tale. For years I had hopes of creating a comic book universe
with these characters but as time moved on the stories of each character
got too big for just a monthly comic. The move was made to
novel format in the hopes of telling it all (or most of it anyway) over
twelve books. In September of 2006 the story was accepted by Tate
Publishing and after some trials the first of the series has hit the
shelves.
